Hexham Farmers’ Market usually takes place in Market Place itself and up to three sides around Hexham Abbey across the road. However, between June and October 2025 the Market Place is being refurbished, so we’re on the move!
Some of us will remain on the Abbey Flags facing into Beaumont Street – and on * October they are: Muckle Brewing, Northumberland Honey, the Greek Bakery, Cassie’s Kitchen and Mawbray Cheese Co. You’ll be able to find the others in Cow Garth, just a short walk away (follow the path along the North East (the other) side of the Abbey towards the Sele Park (there are signs). There you’ll find Murphy’s Kitchen, Slackhouse Farm, Pushpas, Greenfield Growers, Askerton Castle, Noisette Catering, Ravensworth Grange, Alex Bakes, Cumberland Mustard, Durham Soap Co., Hexham Country Market, Bread and Roses, Catchis Kimchi, and Hallsfor Farm.
Keep an eye open for the signage to Cow Garth, but if you get confused, just ask one of the Town Hosts or one of the producers by the Abbey.
