Welcome to Hexham Farmers' Market
Hexham Farmers Market is a long established market in the heart of the historic town of Hexham in Northumberland. Our producers come from within a 50 mile range of the town and they are all
passionate about what they do. They make the products themselves using a high percentage of locally produced ingredients, so the meat you buy at Hexham Farmers' Market is reared by the producer and
the vegetables are locally grown. Bread is made with a high percentage of locally produced flour and cakes will contain local eggs.
Our producers are committed to quality and value for money and are only too happy to answer any questions you might have.
This coming Saturday 20 December 2014 will be the last market of this year. As it is out of sinc and just after our very successful Christmas market we call it the 'top-up' market. It's ideal to
get your meat and vegetables for the Christmas period. If you have ordered poultry from any of our producers, Saturday is the day to pick it up. The market itself will feature an appearance from
Hexham band The Cherry Pickers bringing some additional seasonal cheer!
Hexham Farmers' Market takes place every second and fourth Saturday of the month. Our next market is on Saturday 22 November 2014. Then we have our Christmas market on 13 December and a top-up
market on 20 December.
Our first market in 2015 will be on 10 January, followed by the farmers' market on the 24th. We then have a three week gap until the first February market on the 14th.
We have about 30 producers who come to Hexham Farmers' Market, all from within 50 miles of the town. Some are there every market, some attend once a month and a few are there occasionally. You can
