Hexham Farmers’ Market takes place in Market Place itself and up to three sides around Hexham Abbey across the road. Depending of the number of producers booked, you may find stalls just opposite the market, by the Abbey Shop and occasionally along the path to the Sele on the north side of the Abbey.
This Saturday, 24 February, we’re expecting to have 19 stalls on the Market Place, the the Abbey Shop and the Abbey Flags. We’ll open at 9am and will run until 1.30pm. We welcome back Belle & Herbs with their great ferments, Northumberland Pantry with lovely jams and chutneys, and J & R Armitage Cider and Apple Wine. We have Cassie’s vintage kitchen trying the market for the very first time with Scotch eggs made in County Durham. Come and say hello to them. In addition we have our great range of regulars like Murphy’s Kitchen, Muckle Brewing and Ravensworth Grange. The forecast is for a dry day, although it could be a bit chilly.
You can see our market plan below. In addition, you will be able to find it on our Facebook and Insta pages and the Market Manager should be able to help you if you can’t find someone or if you have any questions.
