We’ve for a market jam-packed with great locally produced food, drink and other local products and plenty of choice for a big part of your weekly shop.
For this market on Saturday 23 May 2026 we’ll have 23 producers and music from Hexham Bluegrass.
We’ll have six stalls by the Abbey facing into Beaumont Street: Northumberland Honey, Tim Foxall, First and Last Brewery, The Greek Bakery, Liddesdale Vension and Mawbray Cheese Co. There are three on the Abbey Flags facing the market: Greenfield Growers, Go Local Food and John Howdon Wood and Resin. The rest of the crowd- Slackhouse Farm, Northumbrian Pantry, Bread and Roses, Samosa Singh, Hallsford Farm, J&R Armitage, Northern Ark Nursery, Alex Bakes, Red Kite Fudge, Ravensworth Grange, CatchiKimchi, Askerton Castle, Noisette Catering and Murphy’s Kitchen will be back in the Market Place. Red Kite Fudge, from Gretna will be with us for the first time.
We look forward to seeing you and we’ll be there between 9am and 1.30pm and remember, we have a three week gap until the first market in June on the 13th.
