Hexham Farmers’ Market takes place in Market Place itself and up to three sides around Hexham Abbey across the road. Depending of the number of producers booked, you may find stalls just opposite the market, by the Abbey Shop and occasionally along the path to the Sele on the north side of the Abbey.
This Saturday, 12 October is our Apple Day and we’re expecting to have 24 stalls on the Market Place and on the Abbey Flags. We’ll open at 9am and will run until 1.30pm. We welcome back Lee from Stonehouse Smokery with their fantastic charcuterie, Meraki Cacao with their chocolate bars (with some brand new accolades for their products!) and regulars J & R Armitage bringing their ciders and apple wine just for Apple Day. In addition we will have Apple Identification, Apple Juicing by Transition Tynedale and music from the 10th Avenue Band
You can see our market plan below. In addition, you will be able to find it on our Facebook and Insta pages and the Market Manager should be able to help you if you can’t find someone or if you have any questions.
