Where to find your favourite producers

Hexham Farmers’ Market takes place in Market Place itself and up to three sides around Hexham Abbey across the road.  Depending of the number of producers booked, you may find stalls just opposite the market, by the Abbey Shop and occasionally along the path to the Sele on the north side of the Abbey.

This Saturday, 13 April, we’re expecting to have 22 stalls on the Market Place, by the Abbey Shop and on the Abbey Flags.  We’ll open at 9am and will run until 1.30pm.   We welcome back Cumberland Mustard after their hibernation and Philippa Hodkinson, who is our regular flower lady, who for this market has branched out into selling her own decorative tiles. We have two producers trying out the market: Farm Fermented Foods from Blyth who make chilli sauces made with their home-grown chillies, and Sun of Seitan from Gateshead. She makes vegan street foods. We hope you’ll make them very welcome. In addition we have a great range of regular local producers like Northumberland Honey and Mead, Spicy Monkey and Murphy’s Kitchen. The forecast is a bit bustery and we might get a bit of rain towards the end of the market.

You can see our market plan below.   In addition, you will be able to find it on our Facebook and Insta pages and the Market Manager should be able to help you if you can’t find someone or if you have any questions.
