We’ve for a market jam-packed with great locally produced food, drink and other local products and plenty of choice for a big part of your weekly shop.
For this market on Saturday 25 April 2026 we’ll have 24 producers.
We’ll have six stalls by the Abbey facing into Beaumont Street: Northumberland Honey, Foxall Spatulas, First and Last Brewery, The Greek Bakery, Liddesdale Vension and Mawbray Cheese Co. There are three on the Abbey Flags facing the market: Greenfield Growers, Stonehouse Smokery and John Howdon Wood and Resin. The rest of the crowd- Slackhouse Farm, Durham Soap, Bread and Roses, Samosa Singh, Hallsford Farm, Messy Date, R& J Armitage Cider and Apple Wine, Northern Ark Nursery, Alex Bakes, Northumbrian Pantry, Ravensworth Grange, Askerton Castle, Noisette Catering and Murphy’s Kitchen will be back in the Market Place. We’ll have music from the Storytellers Streetband.
