Where to find your favourite producers

For our market in Septemberst, we’ve for a market -packed with great locally produced food, drink and other local products and plenty of choice for a big part of your weekly shop.

On Saturday 12th we’ll have 25 stalls and  entertainment from the Irish Dance Troupe from Hexham. 

We’ll have six stalls by the Abbey facing into Beaumont Street: Northumberland Honey,  Tim Foxall, The Greek Bakery, Hexham Festival of the Arts, The Generous Gardener and Mawbray Cheese Co.   There are four on the Abbey Flags facing the market: Cassie’s Kitchen, Hexham Greenfield Growers, Farm Fermented Foods and Stonehouse Smokery.   The rest of the crowd- Slackhouse Farm, Durham Soap, Spicy Monkey,  Samosa Singh, Cumberland Mustard, Northern Ark Nursery,  Alex Bakes,   Noisette Catering, Meraki Cacao, Hexham Country Market, Ravensworth Grange, Hallsford Farm, Pry Farm, Askerton Castle and Murphy’s Kitchen will be back in the Market Place. 

We welcome Gill of The Generous Gardener for her first market. Gill runs a small flower farm near Haydon Bridge and she’ll be by the Abbey facing into Beaumont Street by Northumberland Honey and the Greek Bakery.  We’re also very pleased to welcome back Vicky from Meraki Cacao and Mari from Cumberland Mustard

We look forward to seeing you and, as usual we’ll be there between 9am and 1.30pm.  Our next market will be on the 26th of September when Transition Tynedale will bring their apple press and you’ll be able to have a go at trying fresh apple juice.
