Welcome to Hexham Farmers' Market
Hexham Farmers Market is a long established market in the heart of the historic town of Hexham in Northumberland. Our producers come from within a 50 mile range of the town and they are all
passionate about what they do. They make the products themselves using a high percentage of locally produced ingredients, so the meat you buy at Hexham Farmers' Market is reared by the producer and
the vegetables are locally grown. Bread is made with a high percentage of locally produced flour and cakes will contain local eggs.
Our producers are committed to quality and value for money and are only too happy to answer any questions you might have.
It's our annual Apple Day the farmers' market on Saturday 10 October. You can try your hand at apple juicing, get your mystery apples identified, get fruit advice and buy lots of great apple
If you have a mystery apple to identify, please bring three examples of the same variety so that our volunteer identifier Ros Nichol, can see a few different ones.
We also hope to have music on the day.
Hexham Farmers' Market takes place every second and fourth Saturday of the month. Our next market is on Saturday 10 October 2015. We are currently on our summer opening hours so the market will
run between 9am and 2pm.
We also have markets on 24 October and 7 and 21 November 2015. Our Christmas Market, in partnership with the Hexham Community Partnership is on 12 December and we round of 2015 with a 'top-up'
market on Saturday 19 December.
We have about 30 producers who come to Hexham Farmers' Market, all from within 50 miles of the town. Some are there every market, some attend once a month and a few are there occasionally. You can
