Welcome to Hexham Farmers' Market
Hexham Farmers Market is a long established market in the heart of the historic town of Hexham in Northumberland. Our producers come from within a 50 mile range of the town and they are all
passionate about what they do. They make the products themselves using a high percentage of locally produced ingredients, so the meat you buy at Hexham Farmers' Market is reared by the producer and
the vegetables are locally grown. Bread is made with a high percentage of locally produced flour and cakes will contain local eggs.
Our producers are committed to quality and value for money and are only too happy to answer any questions you might have.
Our market is certified by FARMA, the National Farmers' Retail and Markets Association.
Our next market is on Easter Saturday, 26 March 2016. Our bakers will be bringing lots of hot cross buns, but they tend to be very popular, so please arrive early if you want to buy some.
Chrickens are alos in full laying mode, so there will be lots of fresh eggs, which will be ideal for making your own decorated eggs for Easter. If you fancy a treat for Easter Sunday, have a
look at the lovely cakes from Hexham Country Markets and North Shore Catering. It's also traditionally time to get into the garden and Northern Ark Nurseries will be able to supply you with some
Hexham Farmers' Market takes place every second and fourth Saturday of the month. Our next market is on Saturday 26 March, Easter Saturday. We are on our winter opening hours so the market will
run between 9am and 1.30pm.
We also have markets on 9 and 23 April. As well as being St. George's Day and Shakespeare's birthday, 23 April is also the date for the Hexham Spring Fair and we'll be open until 3pm. Our May
markets are on the 14th and the 28th.
We have about 30 producers who come to Hexham Farmers' Market, all from within 50 miles of the town. Some are there every market, some attend once a month and a few are there occasionally. You can
